Jo joined A4P in 2020 after spending 13 years working within a Contract Research Organisation. Jo worked as a Scientist within the Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay departments, conducting bioanalysis on large molecule drugs and biomarkers. During that time, Jo spent 8 years as a GCP/GLP regulated project manager specialising on Biomarker and PK assay validation and subsequent management of sample analysis studies, including global Phase III studies. Jo then spent 4 years working within the Operational Management of the PK and Biomarker teams with a keen focus on mentoring, engagement and process improvement. At A4P, Jo works within a team of experienced Bioanalytical Project Managers who have scientific oversight of outsourced activities in support of Biomarker, PK and Immunogenicity programmes.
Outside of work, Jo enjoys walking her two dogs and travelling with her husband, Andy. Jo also is a keen baker and plays Netball for a local team which competes in the Cambridgeshire and District Netball League.
Scott is a founder and for the past 11 years logistics director for A4P. During this time Scott has led the logistics team in managing more than 30,000 time and temperature sensitive consignments for a broad base of clients in Pharma and biotech . He has developed specialist knowledge in the shipment of cell therapies, API’s and other sensitive shipments supporting scientific research.
During the Covid pandemic Scott and the team rapidly set up a transportation solution assisting a major vaccine manufacturer with more than 9000 consignments. The programme saw daily shipping from 18 sites in 5 countries and A4P’s work was deemed pinnacle to the manufacturers operations during the two and half year period. Prior to A4P Scott was previously Early Development sample shipping manager for Pfizer where for 10 years he was responsible for the management of temperature controlled biological sample shipments from clinic to laboratory with collection and delivery locations across the globe.
Specialism's include inventive logistical solutions in support of global fast turnaround analysis; bespoke packaging solutions for sensitive samples & best value approaches to courier management.
He received a Management Science BSc degree with honours from the UMIST, Management School, Manchester England and was granted membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport
